‘One Thousand Tongues’ takes place for a second year this Saturday in Bordon seeking to build on the success of last year.
Taking place on Sunday 15 July from 2-4pm at the Prince Philip Garrison Parade Ground (GU35 0DJ) the event seeks to gather 1000+ people from Bordon and nearby areas to worship together.
Revd Iain Robertson, Leader of St Mark’s Shared Church in Bordon, heads up the team organising the worship event and sees this as a great opportunity to draw together all the denominations in the area.
“We had around 200 people come last year and we’re looking to expand the offering and those who are involved,” Iain says. “This year we will be joined by Acorn Christian Healing Trust, offering prayer ministry throughout, and Good News For Everyone, formerly Gideons UK.”
The event will include sung worship, prayer and a talk seeking to draw those attending into a reflective and powerful time of worship.
Iain and the team would love to invite everyone to join them on Saturday and, if you’re able to, bring a camping chair or two for the moments to sit down.
