Nudge: 15 October 7.30pm

Want to explore leadership in the church? Come along to Nudge on 15 October at St John’s Church, Egham at 7.30pm. Nudge is the name of our vocations events where we explore how God calls today and how we might respond.
 
Kelly Morris, who attended one of our Nudge events, said: “I had nearly completed the first year of the LLM (Licensed Lay Ministers) programme but had been feeling a call to go further. However, at the time there didn’t seem a way to pursue ordination due to my age.”
 
At Nudge, Kelly was able to find out about the Caleb Stream and continue her journey of exploring ordination. “I decided to ‘risk it’ and push open the Caleb door – much to my amazement, I was accepted, and I have now completed my first full day of training with my fellow ‘Calebs’. God is awesome!”
 
The informal evening gives those attending the opportunity to hear about the various vocation paths available in the diocese. Those involved in the variety of training pathways, both leaders and trainees, share a flavour of what you can expect with a chance to ask questions and register your interest.
 
Our Nudge events are open to all, whether it’s a first step on your vocation journey, whether you’ve been in church leadership for years and want to explore the next step, or you’re an incumbent wanting to find out what training could help develop and support your church leaders.
