Member Elections
At the closing date for nominations to Diocesan Synod, there was no requirement to hold any elections, so the Diocesan Synod Elections are now complete and the details of the members taking office for the 2024 -27 triennium can be found here.
Deanery Synods are now required to hold Casual Vacancy Elections to fill any vacant seats. These Casual Vacancy Elections should be run in accordance with Rule 45 of the Church Representation Rules (CRR). Nomination and supporting forms used in the main Diocesan Synod Elections can be adapted for use during the Casual Vacancy process.
Details of those elected via the Casual Vacancy Elections should be sent to the Diocesan Electoral Registration Officer (DERO) at synod@cofeguildford.org.uk
