Addlestone Hub Events

Worship Gatherings

Every term, a worship event is held in Jubilee High, Addlestone.
Our worship events are open to anyone in school years 7-13.

The events are free and are led by the Youth Catalyst team along with youth workers from local churches.
This is a place where young people can encounter God and meet other young Christians.

What to expect:

  • Once signed in, we start with some snacks and light refreshments
  • The hosts will then lead a group mini game from the stage
  • Our band leads us in a time of sung worship
  • A speaker will give a short meaningful talk
  • To finish, we'll have some time to reflect on the talk and encounter God personally

Schools Work

Here is a snapshot of some of the work that Sarah and her team get up to in school:

  • Lunch clubs Tuesday and Thursday
  • Faith room
  • 1-1 sessions
  • Group mentoring
  • Leading and assisting in Philosophy and Ethics lessons
  • Catalyst Week
  • Special days and visits where students can explore and connect with their faith. Recently, students enjoyed having Bishop Paul Davies visit the school and asking him questions

Holiday Camps

These camps offer a space where young people can encounter Jesus through these activities.

At the last Youth Catalyst Creative Camp in Addlestone, young people enjoyed exploring the theme of transformation and what that means creatively, personally and biblically.
