Are you an enthusiastic and highly organised individual looking for a temporary role where you can make a real impact? We are seeking a temporary Reception and Events Administrator to join our Administration Team at Church House Guildford until the end of August 2025.

What You'll Do: 

As the Reception and Events Administrator, you'll be responsible for the seamless operation of our meeting rooms and the warm, professional welcome of all visitors. You'll work closely with our Office & Facilities Manager and collaborate with colleagues at all levels, making every day an exciting opportunity to connect and grow.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Warm Welcomes: Ensure all visitors and callers are greeted with a smile and a professional image of CHG. 

  • Meeting Room Magic: Prepare and set up meeting rooms in advance, ensuring everything is perfect for our guests. 

  • Tech Savvy: Keep our IT/AV equipment in top working condition. 

  • Stock Management: Order and maintain supplies of refreshments and cloakroom sundries. 

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Spot any issues in the building and work with the Office & Facilities Manager to resolve them swiftly. 

  • Project Support: Assist the Administration Team with various projects, balancing hospitality duties and meeting deadlines. 

  • Efficient Operations: Open and distribute post or parcels quickly and efficiently. 

  • Responsive Communication: Handle enquiries proactively, forwarding them to the appropriate team or resolving them in a timely manner. 

  • Versatile Duties: Take on any other ad hoc duties or projects that come your way, ensuring no two days are the same.
