The Role

There are about 60 who come and worship on a Sunday of which about 20 are under 18. There are Sunday group activities for the 3-11 year olds on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month. We have seen the number of families with children grow over the last few years and we want to continue to develop this ministry and see God grow it.

There are monthly all age services which are planned and run by the Children and Families minister. Weekly we run a toddler group which is a wonderful gathering point for many people and this has developed over the years to be an opening for some into seeking counsel and prayer. This has real potential to be a gateway into church. We also have good links with a local primary school and regular assemblies and other activities take place. There is scope and potential to also grow the level of face to face work with families, developing Alpha or Start courses for parents and carers.
