Vicar | Bramley and Grafham

Created: 10th July 2024 at 14:44

Description:

Bramley and Grafham is a united benefice near Guildford.  Most churches advertise for the Archangel Gabriel.  We are looking for someone with more human characteristics who will welcome the opportunity to work with our two churches, here in the beautiful Surrey Hills, and who will:

  • be pastorally aware and a good communicator with a sense of humour, friendly, open and welcoming
  • fully embrace the wider community and explore new ways to reach the unchurched
  • invest in a growing ministry to young and old alike
  • be comfortable with a variety of worship styles
  • encourage and support our musical traditions
  • relish the challenge of engaging our diverse population

We can offer:

  • a full-time stipendiary post
  • a lovely spacious vicarage in Bramley
  • a wide range of local schools
  • an exciting challenge to develop the ministry of our churches

This is a rewarding post that will engage and enthuse the right candidate.

Please see the Parish Profile below for full details.  If you would like to have an informal conversation please contact the Archdeacon of Surrey at catharine.mabuza@cofeguildford.org.uk
